Exploring the West Bali



The first fabulous stop can be made at the Village of Busung Biu at the northern Bali which is on the route to Pupuan. You can enjoy such a stunning panorama over rice terraces, mountain view and also local villages. The next cool stop would be Bunut Bolong where you are going to drive through a big tree which is called Bunut.
 
After taking a little rest with some good coffee that you can get at a local wrung near the tree, you can continue for your sightseeing through this scenic villages that rich of their farming of clove, coffee, cocoa and rubber trees. The view is truly stunning with fantastic coast line of the west Bali.
Have a quick look at Medewi Beach where it is always being crowded by many surfers who are enjoying the continues waves. It is one of the popular surfing destination in Bali. 

Following the main road that goes to the west port of Bali for crossing with ferry over to Java, you can make a little D tour to visit Perancak Cape with its elaborate fishing boat which is called Perahu. During the day time, there are many colorful boats that are parked along the cape. Continuing north, we can have a look over Eastern Java from an area close to Gilimanuk, the port for the ferry over to Java. At the big T-Junction at Gilimanuk, take the road to the right, heading towards Lovina with a fabulous stop at a temple for Layonsari and Jayaprana which is a Balinese version for Romeo and Juliet. The step is a bit climbing but it is nice with all the trees that grows along the stairways and watching over hundreds of monkeys around the forest. After the temple, you can head east and choose to stay at around Pemuteran or even going straight to Lovina for your overnight stay.

Stunning Jatiluwih Terraces

When We explore the central region of Bali, it would be truly pity to miss out to enjoy such a stunning rice terraces at the Village of Jatiluwih in the regency of Tabanan. The regency itself is known as the rice barn of Bali where in most part of the region the local people are farming rice as the main farm. They farm a lot of Bali rice which is one of the best quality rice that we grow on the island of Bali. Jatiluwih has been stated as one of the world cultural heritage. Visitors are easily can wander around this fabulous paddy field and having such a great walk, observing the ancient irrigation system and traditional farming system that has been practiced by the local farmers for centuries.

Balinese Rice Harvesting

The Local farmers are still traditionally harvesting the rice at the local rice farm. Rice is the main food for the Balinese and are farmed all year round. When you are traveling on the island, you would be able to see different stages of rice farm from plowing the land to harvesting. Farmers have a great ancient irrigation system that flow the water throughout the year allowing the local farmers to continuously growing the rice on most part of the island rich soil.

Some stunning sites to visit in Bali

Breathtaking panorama over the misty lake Tamblingan with is dense rain forest, a view that brings so much peace and harmony into your heart and let yourself breath with the fresh mountain air.
An elaborate 10th-century Hindu temple of Batuan is one of the great example of stunning Bali's architecture.
Kehen Temple at the region of Bangli is one amongst the Hindu temple that should be visited while you are having your vacation on the island of Bali. It is truly impressive with its stunning carvings and giant banyan tree that grows in the courtyard of the temple with its alarm Kul-kul built on this giant sacred tree.
