Balinese Rice Harvesting

The Local farmers are still traditionally harvesting the rice at the local rice farm. Rice is the main food for the Balinese and are farmed all year round. When you are traveling on the island, you would be able to see different stages of rice farm from plowing the land to harvesting. Farmers have a great ancient irrigation system that flow the water throughout the year allowing the local farmers to continuously growing the rice on most part of the island rich soil.
